Applied to leaves it is absorbed and moves through the entire plant to kill it above and below ground
Optima non-selective nature makes it great for clearing large areas of annual and perennial weeds
Simple to use and mix in water, Roundup Optima is suitable for use on hard areas not intended to hold vegetation and to clear weedy ground before planting with vegetables, flowers, bushes and trees
Also suitable for renovating overgrown areas or lawn destruction before planting up or returfing
Roundup Optima works on plants by translocation and is inactivated on contact with the ground
It is degraded by soil microorganisms
This means you can plant treated areas from around seven days after application
